Daytrippingontario.com was started back in 2001 two years after I moved to Ontario, Canada and wanted to document all the fun and exciting places I visited. I have always had a love for Ontario, visiting here annually on family vacations since 1959. My additions to the website started to include reviews, as I felt the need to share places I was not happy with, just like tripadvisor.ca. As a consumer you always want the best deal for your money and would like the foresight to avoid the not so good. And being that we love staying in hotels, it is really nice to be able to get the best deals and avoid the nasty ones:-)
We also love to share the many spectacular destinations that Ontario has to offer.
