Above photo, I finally purchased some shrimp. Will post more photos after they are cooked to Day Tripping Ontario's
facebook page.
My husband and I thought of this years ago while we were raising kids. Looked at places here in this area after retiring. Our idea was fresh water shrimp like they do in Michigan. Prefer fresh water shrimp as they are a better consistency and what I grew up eating in Jamaica. the Isrealis started helping Jamaicans with fresh water shrimp years after we migrated. Our shrimp were harvested from canals midst the sugar estates or run off holding tanks at the sugar mills. they are also harvested from the rivers around Middle Quarters in Jamaica.
ReplyDeleteHope you will think of doing fresh water shrimp once this project takes off. I find salt water shrimp too soft.
